Homemade sea bass croquettes with panko breadcrumbs
Ingredients:
- 200 g sea bass
- 4 tbsp wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 2 thick slices of frozen bread
- Cooking oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
- Prepare the panko breadcrumbs: after removing the crust, blend the frozen bread until you obtain a fine powder. Place in a shallow bowl.
- Cut the sea bass fillets into 6 cm pieces. Wipe with some absorbent paper and season with some salt.
- Whisk the egg in a bowl and place the flour in another shallow bowl.
- Coat the sea bass pieces: place them in the flour, followed by the whisked egg and then the panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Cook the croquettes for about five minutes on each side.
- Once cooked, season with pepper and eat with your favourite sauce.
