I have been a satisfied user of the Peugeot Hostellerie pepper mill for 30 years and it has never let me down. The durability and reliability of this model are unmatched. Interestingly enough,...read more I use this pepper mill as a salt mill, because the Peugeot Isen manual salt mill, which I bought via Amazon, did not meet my expectations. My salt from 'Reflets de France', called 'Sel de Guérande IGP', could not be ground by the Isen variant. The Hostellerie however does this perfectly. The Isen is now gathering dust in my cupboard, but I am very glad that I still bought the Hostellerie for the salt. In short, the Peugeot Hostellerie pepper mill is an excellent choice, even for grinding salt. It is a reliable and durable product that I highly recommend.
